FIXTURE NEWS: Alvechurch Friendly Announced
Quorn Football Club are delighted to announce a visit from step three side Alvechurch as part of the preparations for the 2024/25 season. ‘The Church’ will visit Farley Way on Saturday the 6th of July, kicking off at 2pm with the Euro Quarter Final (which will possibly feature England) on in the clubhouse following the match.
Alvechurch just completed their sixth season in the Southern League Premier Central Division, and whilst they may have had an uncharacteristically poor season by their own standards, 2022/23 was a different story. That season saw The Church reach the second round of the FA Cup, knocking out Cheltenham Town on the way.
The complete preseason schedule announced so far is:
Nuneaton Town (H) – Tuesday the 2nd of July 2024 (19:45 KO)
Alvechurch (H) – Saturday the 6th of July 2024 (14:00 KO)
