Bio: After an early season spell on dual registration with Kimberley Miners Welfare, Tom Hilton is starting to settle in to life with the Reds. Making his fifth appearance last weekend, Hilton helped see “The Methodists” through to the third qualifying with an assured appearance off the bench.

Born in Nottingham, Hilton now lives in Smalley Village, where he helps run the family business. Tom’s time in organised football began with Moorgreen Colts, where he was picked up by Notts County. After seven years with the Magpies, Hilton moved on to join Mansfield Town at the age of 16. Tom would later make his senior debut with Linby Colliery in the Central Midlands League, at step seven, whilst still just 16 years of age.

The versatile midfielder was soon rising through the levels, joining Heanor Town in the 2021/22 season, before making a further leap to step three with Ilkeston Town last season. Once again last season, Hilton was on dual terms with Kimberly Miners Welfare, making 25 appearances for the Miners as they achieved their highest ever league finish.
