NEWS: Mountsorrel Amateurs Agree Groundshare at Farley Way

The 2024/25 season will see Mountsorrel Amateurs first team will play their home games at Quorn’s Farley Way home.

After back-to-back promotions, the Amateurs first team are set to leave the Mountsorrel Memorial Playing Fields, when they begin play in the Everards Brewery Leicestershire Senior League Division One, just two steps below the National League System, where teams enter the FA Vase.

The agreement will offer locals the chance to see competitive football virtually every Saturday afternoon at Farley Way, with Mountsorrel hosting matches when Quorn are away.

“It’s fantastic news for fans of both clubs” said Quorn Secretary Adam Etheridge “we’re a stones throw from Mountsorrel, and it offers their supporters the luxury of knowing that their games should be on, whatever the weather. We have a great facility at Farley Way, and knowing that we’ll have football to offer locals virtually every week is a real bonus for fans of local football in both villages.”

“Moving to Farley Way provides the infrastructure we need for our first team to progress” said Mountsorrel Amateurs Chairman, Scott Green, “We’re thankful to Quorn FC for offering us this opportunity and hope that we can develop a strong relationship.”

Fixtures for both clubs will be announced in due course, please keep an eye on our social media for the latest news.
