FIXTURE NEWS: First Preseason Test Announced

Quorn Football Club will have their first preseason test in just over a week as they travel to Newark for a friendly with Newark & Sherwood United. The Highwaymen will host the Reds at the ground of Winthorpe & Coddington Tigers on Saturday the 5th of July (13:30 KO).

Newark usually play their home games at Harrowby United, but with the ground unavailable that afternoon, the two sides will face off at Phoenix Park in Coddington. The two sides last met in March 2023, with Quorn winning 2-1 at Collingham, thanks to goals from Paddy Webb and Fortune Maphosa. That most recent meeting was in the United Counties League Premier North, where Newark & Sherwood remain.

It will be payment on the gate for this fixture with admission costing £3.00. Entrance is free for Under 16s. There is no licensed bar at the ground, but there will be refreshments available for purchase.
